Towns in Shanxi during Jin Dynasty

Towns made great develepment and prospered in what area of today's Shanxi during Jin Dynasty.The distribution of them was of centralization in two ends and sparseness in the central area.At the same time,they lined along the Hutuo River and Fen River,from northeast to southwest.These towns had no significant economic breakthrough,the prosperity are limited to their large amount.Most of the towns were rebiult from barriers and barbacks in Song Dynasty,with marked military functions.
