Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the value of MR fluid attenuated inversion recovery(FLAIR) sequence in diagnosis of intracranial lesion. Methods:MR FLAIR and conventional SE seguence in 71 cases with various intracranial lesions were performed, and both FLAIR and conventional SE sequences were compared in detecting the in tracranial lesions.Results:67 and 50 intracranial lesions were identified respectively with FLAIR and conventional SE sequences in 71 cases of intracranial lesions.p0.01.Conclusion:FLAIR sequence can improve the detective rate in meingoencephalitis and acute subarachnoid hemorrhage. It has definite advantage in identifying contusion of brain, cerebral infarction and demyelinating disease.
