Abstract

Objective To establish the detecting methods of caffeotannic acid in Ginger cold tablets with the method of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). Methods To detect assaying of caffeotannic acid in Ginger cold tablets with HPLC method, and chromatographic column was Eclispse XDB C18 (4.6 mm×250 mm, 5 μm), the moving phase was methyl cyanide and phosphoric acid in 0.4% concentration, the flow rate was 0.8 mL/min, the temperature of column was 30℃, and the wave length was 326 nm. Results Linear correlation of caffeotannic acid was stabile from 0.099 to 4.990 μg (r=0.999 8), recovery rate of sample was 99.63%, RSD=0.59% (n=6). Conclusion HPLC is a simple detecting way, detecting consequence is reliably, repeatability is favourable, and the recovery for the sample is perfect, it could be taken in quality control of caffeotannic acid in Ginger cold tablets.
