Abstract

Objective To study the practical value of combined detection of the serum levels of CA125 and tumor supplied group of factors (TSGF ) in the diagnosis of malignant gynecological tumors and the observation of the curative effect . Methods Serum levels of CA125 and TSGF in 223 patients with malignant gynecological tumor, 90 patients with benign gynecological tumors and 98 normal controls were measured by elctrochemiluminescence immuno-assay (ECLIA) and chemical colorimetry . Results The levels of CA125 and TSGF in the group of malignant gynecological tumor were significantly higher than those in benign gynecological tumors and normal control group (P0.01). Sensitivities of determination of CA125 and TSGF were 58.3% and 72.2% and the specificity were 91.0% and 90.4%. Sensitivity and specificity of combined detection of two kinds tumor markers were 79.4% and 82.4%. The levels of CA125 and TSGF in patients with malignant gynecological tumors were significantly different after treatment (P0.05). Conclusion The determination of CA125 and TSGF are helpful in diagnosis and in differential diagnosis of gynecological tumors .Combined detection of two kinds of serum tumor makers not only increases the detective positive rate but also is valuable to observe the curative rate and postoperative monitor of the malignant gynecological tumors.
