Abstract

Lu Zhaolin is one of theBest Poets of the Early Tang Dynastyand has a comparatively more miserable destiny-he committed suicide.There are unique images in his writings.We could explore Lu Zhaolin's feeling according to these images,which can be divided into three groups approximately.The three images respectively show his loneliness,his mood of complaining about being old and the depressive sentiment.There are two reasons for this.One is that he has the ability to administer the world but he couldn't because of his lower status;the other is his illness.
