Heartsease and Heartthrob——A Comparative Study of Prose Style of the Zhous

Zhou ZuoRen's pure proses reveal a tender feeling whereas Lu Xun's unbosom himself with enthusiasm.Zhou ZuoRen was only trying to express drily.His emotions were weakened by his exposition,the materials and examples he used.From the interest and implication in his works,his pure proses show a tranquil style.On the other hand,Lu Xun liked to probe deeply into the essence of things.He emphasized emotion as well as ration,he set his feeling into the stories,he mastered the matters with deep passion.In this way,his pure proses present a heartfelt style.The Zhou Brothes both are writing pioneers of the ages.
