The Preliminary Inquiry into the Imagery of Lu Zhaolin's Poems

Lu Zhaolin,one of the four great poets of early Tang Dynasty,had a most miserable fate and experience.Lu captured some sad imagery with individual flavors and applied them to his poetic works,which constitutes Lu Zhaolin's imagery group with unique style.Lu's imagery has three distinctive characteristics: coloring focuses on cool tone,acoustics on silence and emotion on isolation,sorrow and distress.The imagery crated by Lu Zhaolin could be linked with some factors such as the frustration in his official career,the poverty of his family life and the hurt of his health,etc.
