Notes on Zhong of Silk Manuscript Discovered in the Tomb of Han Dynasty at Mawangdui

This article explains some paragraphes in the chapter Zhong of silk manuscript,and analyses their connotation on the basis of ideological history.For example,this chapter considers that King Wen with wizard created the Zhouyi,wizard produced the witchcraft,and King Wen appended statements to the hexagrams and lines,which is one early expression about compilation course of the Zhouyi;this silk manuscript also interprets theory of human nature that great different from Mencius and Xun Zi,the literati and swordsman were regarded as two kinds of personality,which is rare in ancient documents;comprehension of some sentences contacts with other works of Yizhuan written on silk,they like to expound the ethical thought of the Zhouyi.Some thought in this book is closes to the thought of the school of Zi Si and Mencius,so some parts of this book may be written after the middle of Warring States period.
