On the chapter of Miu he on the silk manuscript of the Zhouyi

The excavation of the silk manuscript of the Zhouyi makes it possible to see the original appearance of the received version of the Zhouyi in the beginning of the Han dynasty.Most valuably,each chapter of the silk manuscript of the Yi zhuan(Commentaries)rendered certain interpretations to the Ancient Text of the Zhouyi,which,even though neither intact nor systematic,enable us to discern not a little new-text exegesis at the beginning of the Han dynasty.Now by contrasting these exegesis with related interpretations from the Yi- ologists in the Han and Wei dynasties collected in the Jing dian shi wen(Interpretations of the Classics by LU De-ming)and Zhouyi ji jie(Collected Annotations of Zhouyi by LI Ding-zuo),this paper attempts to an- alyze some integrated interpretations on a few hexagrams in the silk manuscript,expecting to offer some im- portant inspirations for us to reexamine the Han Yi-ology,especially the differences between the old-text and new-text Yi.
