Clinical evaluation of the Sysmex XE-2100 analyzer in application of the white blood cells classification

Objective To appraise the performance of the Sysmex XE-2100 analyzer to analyzer the white blood cells and its abnormal cells.Methods In order to research its application in analyzing of the abnormal white blood cells and alarms capability of detection abnormality,1 200 samples were examined repeatedly by microscope measurement and a statistical comparison was also made.Results The Sysmex XE-2100 analyzer has a higher precision and the sensitivity of the alarming system was 100%.The predictive value of negative was 100%.The predictive value of positive was 79.55%.The specificity was 95.60%.The false positive rate was 12.83%. the efficiency rate was 96.25%.Conclusions The Sysmex XE-2100 analyzer has a good speciality, veracity and sensitivity in analyzing blood white cells and the abnormal cells.It can be used in the clinical laboratory.
