Abstract

Objective To study the curative effect of phacoemulsification combined with trabeculectomy for treatment of glaucoma complicated with cataract. Methods Selected patients with glaucoma complicated by cataract patients, conduct phacoemulsification and trabeculectomy for treatment, and observed the treated eyes mean visual acuity, intraocular pressure and mean postoperative complications.Used SPSS 18.0 for statistical analysis. Results The average visual acuity eyes recover from(0.15±0.02)to(0.48±0.13),the average recovery of intraocular pressure drop from(23.29±4.83)mm Hg to(10.32±2.34)mm Hg.Conclusions The patients with glaucoma complicated with cataract, phacoemulsification combined with trabeculectomy can effectively improve the recovery of visual acuity, intraocular pressure.
