Abstract
Due to their unfavourable social and cultural environments as well as their natural and economic conditions, some rural areas in our country are slow in their construction and development. Increasing social problems have arisen from local farmers' narrow outlooks on values, warped personalities and loss of cultural consciousness. Therefore, we must adopt relevant measures, and instill an upward spirit into such rural areas so as to promote rural construction and modernization drive.
