Analysis on cockroach's density and population condition in Taizhou urban area from 2006 to 2008

Objective To understand density and population congdition of cockroach in taizhou urban area.Methods Uses glue cockroach paper law.Results 6480 pieces of glue cockroach were placed,and 5935 pieces were reclaimed,309 pieces were positive,invasion rate was 5.21%.Collected three species of cockroaches,namely,Blattella germanica,Periplaneta americana and P.fuliginosaand,altogether 6191,The average cockroach density was 1.04 per pieces.Conclusion The cockroach's density of taizhou urban areas were Exceed a national standard,the proper prevention and control of cockroach should be in progress.
