Application of lianhua qingwen capsules in fever clinic

Objective To evaluate the efficacy of lianhua qingwen capsules on acute upper respiratory tract infections and acute trachea-bronchitis.Methods A total of 156 patients with acute respiratory infections and acute trachea-bronchitis in fever clinics were randomly divided into two groups: a treatment group and a control group.The patients in the treatment group were given 4 lianhua qingwen capsules a time,3 times a day,and three days in a row.The patients in the control group were given 20 ml shuanghuanglian oral liquid each time,3 times a day,and 3 days in a row as well.At the same time,the two groups were given cough phlegm,anti-inflammatory,symptomatic and supportive treatment.Results The total effective rate was 88.5% in the treatment group(38 cases cured,31 cases effective and 9 cases ineffective);The total effective rate was 66.7% in the control group(22 cases cured,30 cases effective and 26 cases ineffective),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusions Lianhua qingwen capsule has a good efficacy in the treatment of acute upper respiratory tract infections and acute trachea-bronchitis.
