Abstract
A new silage maize jinongdaqingsi 1 was obtained by using L16 as female parent and G599 as male parent. Its average yield was 76 169.3 kg/hm2 in the 2-year regional test from 2009 to 2010,5.4% higher than that of the control variety; Its average yield was 81 811.9 kg/hm2 in the production test in 2010,6.9% higher than that of the control variety jinshan 12.Jinongdaqingsi 1 was examined and approved by Inner Mongolia Evaluation Committee of Crop Variety in March 2011.Jinongdaqingsi 1 is of high biological yield and great resistance to diseases and lodging. It can be planted in late region of Inner Mongolia.
