Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of Sanjie Zhitong decoction enema on endometriosis.Methods One hundred and thirtysix patients with endometriosis were classified into two groups,100 cases of treated group were administered with Sanjie Zhitong decoction enema,and 36 cases of control group were given oral medroxyprogesterone.Results The cure rate (42.0%) and total efficiency rate(94%) in treated group increased significantly as compared with those in control group (22.0%,80.6%) (P0.05). The recurrence rate (4.44%) decreased markedly in treated group as compared with that in control group (21.43%) (P0.01).Conclusions The Sanjie Zhitong decoction enema can be applied easily and effectively to treating endometriosis.
