Abstract
Objective Angiotensin Ⅱ receptor antagonist (valsartan) in the treatment of chronic congestive heart failure. Methods Totally 160 patients with chronic congestive heart failure were randomly divided into treatment group and control group 80 cases, two groups were given conventional anti-failure therapy in the treatment group on the basis of conventional therapy plus valsartan 80~160mg,oral,1 time/d,once every 12 weeks of treatment, clinical symptoms and cardiac function improvement. Results The total effective rate was 96.3% in the treatnent group and 77.5% in the control group,2 groups were significantly different (P0.05).Conclusion Valsartan in chronic congestive heart failure can improve clinical efficacy.
