Clinical observation of congestive heart failure treated by Shenmai injection

Objective To investigate the therapeutic effect of Shenmai injection on congestive heart failure(CHF).Methods 64 patients with Ⅱ～Ⅳ degree cardiac function were randomly divided into treatment group and control group.On the basis of the routine treatment,the treatment group was added with Shenmai injection 40ml and 5% GS 250ml VD.Per day,the control group was added isosorbide mononitrate injection 10mg and 5% GS 250ml VD.Per day.14 days was a therapeutic course for 2 groups.Results The effective rate and total effetive rate in treatment group were 25.0% and 84.4% which were 15.1% and 56.2% in control group respectively.There was a significant difference between two group(P0.05).After treatment there were significant difference in heart rate,improvement of cardiac function and UCG parameters(LVEF,LVSD,LVDD,E/A) between two groups(P0.01 or P0.05).Conclusion On the basis of the routine treatment,Shenmai injection can increase the therapeutic effect on CHF.
