Abstract

The POE/PP composite was made through melt blending. The effect of the ratio of rubber and plastics,as well as different fillers(CaCO_3,talcum powder, carbon black) on mechanical properties of POE/PP was studied. The results showed that the optimal mechanical properties of POE/PP was obtained when the rate of rubber and plastics was between 60/40 and 70/30.The tensile strength and elongation at break were decreased with increasing the loading of the fillers while the hardness was increased.
