With the development of science and the people’s understand for the world, chaos theory has increasingly being seen as a theory of an important complex system, its extensive use in the electric power network systems is gradually being popular. This paper summarized and concluded the Predecessor’s study harvest on electric power systems, expatiated chaos’s concept, characteristics and applications.
