A Survey of Chaos in Photovoltaic Power System

Abstract

Chaos is a kind of quasi-stochastic behaviors of determinate nonlinear system. As one of the most important achievements of nonlinear science, chaos attracted common attention and had been extensively studied in the last four decades. Recently, how to apply chaos has become the researching focus. Chaos control and anti-control is the basic problem of the application of chaos. After introducing the characteristic of chaos and some typical PV systems, this article has a discussion about DC-DC converter that chaos would emerge and the methods to restrain and take advantage of chaos. At last, an example of chaos anti-control is given to verify the effect of controlling. However, there is no certain method for the universal systems and structures. And the diversity of chaotic system leads to diversity of chaos control. Therefore, looking for effective and feasible methods for special plants and control aims is a very important task.
