A Study on the Relation of Blood Uric Acid to Cerebral Infarction and Cerebral Hemorrhage

Objectives: To explore the relation of blood uric acid to cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage.Methods: A comparative analysis was made of blood uric acid content among 90 cases of cerebral infarction,90 cases of cerebral hemorrhage and 90 healthy controls,and the relation between the clinical symptoms of the patients with cerebral hemorrhage and blood uric acid content was clearified as well.Results: The difference in uric acid content between the cerebral infarction group and the control group and that between cerebral hemorrhage group and the control group is statistically significant.The uric acid level in the cerebral infarction group is significantly higher than that in the control group(P0.001).The uric acid level in cerebral hemorrhage group is also significantly higher than that in the control group(P0.05).The blood uric acid value in cerebral infarction group of deteroration is significantly higher than that in cerebral infarction group of improvement,and the blood uric acid value in cerebral hemorrhage group of deterioration is also higher than that in the cerebral hemorrhage group of improvement.Conclusion: Blood uric acid level is correlated to cerebral infarction,the type of cerebral hemorrhage and their prognosis.
