Abstract
Objective To study the expression of bcl-2 in human gallbladder carcinoma and the relationship between the expression intensity and survival time. Methods The expression of bcl-2 protein in 40 cases of human gallbladder carcinoma and 40 cases of benign gallbladder lesions were detected by using SP method in combination with antigen microwave methods. Results The positive rate of the expression of bcl-2 protein in gallbladder carcinoma was 65.00 % (26 /40),significantly higher than that in benign gallbladder lesions (5.00 %,P0.01).The expression of bcl-2 protein was closely related to tumor differentiation. Conclusion The bcl-2 protein expression was related to the pathogenesis of human gallbladder carcinoma.bcl-2 protein expression may be used as a promising predictor for the prognosis of patients with gallbladder carcinoma.
