Abstract
The time uniform N-S equation and the k-eturbulence model are used to simulate the flow field of the inlet duct of Jianbi Pumping Station in order to solve the problem that whether or not the inlet duct can meet the requirement of pumping station operation after the pumping station is enlarged. The different scenarios of the inlet duct are evaluated with the optimization objectives of the uniformity of the velocity and the weighted mean velocity. The results show that the original inlet duct can satisfy the requirement of operation after the pumping station is enlarged.
