Abstract
The effect of intake swirl at low load on the performance of high power diesel engine equipped with main-assistant double intake system was theoretically analyzed and experimentally investigated, and the parameter of intake valve plate was optimized. The results show that at low load operation condition,a stronger intake swirl can be obtained by giving priority to the swirl intake and taking direct intake as assistant,so that the performance of diesel engine at low load can be improved.
