Abstract
The problem of income gap between urban and rural residents has become the current Chinese social focus which grasps more attention.,Shanxi as a representative province of western area,its income gap between urban and rural residents is continuously expanding.This article presents an in-depth analysis on the Restricting Factors affecting the income of Shanxi urban and rural households.then applying auto-regressive analysis method based on the time series analysis to conduct analytical study for income differential.The research indicates that the income of rural residents is always smaller than that of city dwellers,and existing a certain gap between two of them,which expands year by year.Finally the article proposes measures of shortening the income gap between urban and rural residens of Shanxi.
