Abstract

Objective:To study the effect of Gegen injection on acute myocardial ischemiain anesthetized dogs.Methods:The dog model of acute myocardial ischemia was established by ligation of left descending anterior coronary artery and be administered intravenously.The effects of Gegen injection were observedby heart rate,myocardial oxygen consumption,epicardial electrogram,myocardial infarction area and myocardial enzymes.Results:Gegen injection slowed down the quickened heart beat induced by ischemia,significantly abated heart rate,myocardial oxygen consumption,the damage degree and ranging of myocardial ischemia,and obviously reduced the myocardialinfarction area,decreased the LDH、CK、CKMB as well as AST content.Conclusion:It showed that Gegen injection can evidently improve myocardial ischemia induced by ligating the left descending anterior coronary artery.
