A Report for the Seventh National Sugarcane Variety Test at Nanning of Guangxi

Abstract

The regional test including 9 new sugarcane varieties with 2 control varieties were conducted for 2 years plant crops and 1 year ratoon crop in Nanning of Guangxi during 2009-2010.The result showed that Mingtang96/1027 and Yuegan26 were the highest in cane yield and sugar yield.Funong04/2816 was characterized as early maturity and high sucrose content.The performances of other varieties were not significant with the controls.
