Abstract

Results from the trials of one crop of plant cane and the next crop of ratoon one,in Xuwen,Guangdong during 2009 and 2010,showed that both cane and sugar yields of every tested variety in the plant crop were respectively higher than those in the ratoon one.F92-2668,ranking first among the ten varieties tested,was 6.1%~12.0% higher than ROC22 in cane yield with good agronomic characteristics,but presented lower cane sucrose.The performance of the others was diverse.
