The Same Moon with Different Images——A Comparison of “Moon” Images Between the Works of Li Bai and D.H.Lawrence

The “Moon” images have played a special and very important part in the works written by LiBai and D.H.Lawrence. Both the ancient gifted Chinese poet and the modern English literature banner used the moon to metaphorize the strength of people’s spirits and the philosophy of life. This article tries to explore the real connotations of the different moon images in their works and show the relations between the writers’ characters and the images they created.
