Abstract

Image is the thought and mood of literary works through image description.Moon Complex is prevalent in Chinese literature and folklore,and has been consistently recognized in Chinese national psychology.The moon has six images in ancient poems——homesickness,parting,seclusion,hidden bitterness,disconsolation and lovesickness.An analysis of the imagery of the moon in classical poetry will help us to more accurately grasp the content and meaning of classical poetry,and deepen the unity of the Chinese nation.
