A Probe to the Prototype of the Moon in Ancient Chinese Poetry

The image of the moon was widely employed in ancient Chinese poetry, and an image group about the moon was thus formed. These images, more or less, applied colors to a drawing of loneliness and sadness. This article, by making use of legendary information, tries probing the connotation connotation implied in the deep layer through a study of the prototype of the moon.
