Abstract

Experiential Metafunction is one of the important parts of Halliday's Systemic Functional Grammar,which has been widely applied to different types of texts.Experiential Metafunction is made up of a set of semantic systems and the most important one is the Transitivity system.It construes the world of experience into a set of Process types,each of which consists of the Process itself,the Participants and the Circumstances associated with the Process.
