The analysis of the affecting factors of health service needsand utilization of Henan provincial farmer

Objective: To analyze the affecting factors of the rural residents'needs and utilization of health service in the rural area of Henan Province. Methods: On the foundation of the data from national investigation of health service among HeNan Province in 2003. On the rule of economic and effect. The rural residents of this area were surveyed by stratified_cluster random sampling. The sampling was gained by well_strained investigators though questioning.Results: The affecting factors of the rural residents'needs and utilization of health service in Henan Province include age, gender, and culture background. The results show that the two-week prevalence rate and chronic disea seprevalence rate is indifference, two-week consulting rates and hospital admissions rate is difference.Conclusion: In summary, the demand and utilization on health services is insufficiency in the rural area of Henan Province, and it is urgent to improve the farmer's effective demand and health care cognition. The culture level of the rural residents should be raised. Adjust the working mode of the primary healthcare, and increase the fund devotion for health care.
