Abstract

OBJECTIVE To observe the clinical efficacy of the vacuum sealing drainage technology(VSD) in the treatment of hand trauma with wound infections.METHODS A total of 29 cases of hand trauma patients with infected wound were selected as research objects and were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group,18 cases of patients in the observation group were received the vacuum sealing drainage technology treatment, and 11 cases of patients in the control group were treated with the conventional dressing. The percentage of secondary surgery, the healing rate one week after the surgery, and the healing time of the two groups were compared.RESULTS The percentage of the secondary surgery of the observation group was 11.11%,lower than 54.55% of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).The healing rate one week after the surgery was(95.4±2.1)% in the observation group and(45.7±1.8)% in the control group, the difference was statistically significant;the healing time was(17.4±2.4)d,shorter than(28.7±2.9)d of the control group;the wound healing histopathological grading of the observation group was(8.7±0.7),higher than(4.2±0.4) of the control group;the antibiotics use time of the observation group was(6.1±1.2)d,shorter than(12.4±2.3)d of the control group;the hospitalization duration was(18.1±2.1)d,shorter than(30.4±1.6)d of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P0.05).CONCLUSION Vacuum sealing drainage technology in the treatment of hand trauma patients with infection wound repair can effectively promote the tissue healing, shorten the time of antibiotics treatment, healing time and the length of hospital stay, and reduce the rate of the secondary operation so as to improve the clinical curative effect, which is worthy of the promotion.
