Clinical Observasion of "YiQi QingDu" in the Treatment of Advanced Gastric Cancer

Objective:To discuss the clinical effect of YiQi QingDu treating advanced gastric cancer,and the effect on the immune function,the living quality and survival periods of gastric carcinoma patients.Method:68 advanced gastric cancer patients were randomized into two groups:the control group and the treatment group.Each group has 34 patients.34 cases in the treatment group were treated with YiQi QingDu combined with OFL chemotherapy regimens simultaneously.The other 34 cases were treated with OFL regimens alone.Result:In the short-term curative effect of solid tumors,the effective rate in the treatment group and in the control group were 44.12% and 35.29% respectively without showing significant difference(P0.05) between the two groups.But the benefit rate of the treatment group(94.12%) was higher significantly the control group(73.53%),there was significant difference between them in statistics(P0.05).There were significant difference between control group and experimental group on improving the clinical symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine,quality of life,T-lymphocyte subsets,serum CEA,CA19-9 level and decreasing side and toxicity effect of chemotherapy(P0.05).The median survival of treatment group and control group were thirty-three months and thirty months,respectively.The accumulated 1,2,3-year survival rates were 76.47%,64.71%,58.82% in the treatment group,respectively,whereas the 1,2,3-year survival rates were 70.59%,52.94%,44.12% in the control group,respectively.Comparison of 1,2,3-year survival rates between the 2 groups showed that there was no significant difference in 1-year survival rate(P0.05),but the difference in 2,3-year were significant(P0.05).Conclusion:To use YiQi QingDu combined with OFL chemotherapy in the treatment of advanced gastric cancer could improve the therapeutic effect,ease the clinical symptoms,reduce side and toxicity effect induced by chemical drugs,promote the immunological function,enhance the life quality of patients,control tumor and prolong survival.So the comprehensive treatment means of traditional Chinese and Western medicine is needed to be deeply discussed and to further study in advanced gastric cancer.
