Abstract
O-methyl-N-nitroisourea was synthesized in a one-pot procedure using urea, dimethyl sulfate, nitric acid and sulfuric acid as raw materials. The effect of reaction temperature and time, catalyst and raw material propotioning on the reaction yield was studied,so that a more excellent reaction condition could be determined: under a molar ratio n(1)∶n(2) of 1.3:1;at 70℃;by a catalyst of 50% sulfuric acid for 4 h.The total yield was 43%,and the content was more than 99%.
