Abstract

N,O-dimethyl-N'-nitroisourea was synthesized from O-methyl-N-nitroisourea and methylamine in the presence of the efficient catalyst.The yield of the reaction was more than 80% with the purity of above 98%.The effect of the reaction conditions on reaction yield was investigated,and the optimal conditions were as follows:reaction temperature 40 ℃,reaction time 4 hours and the material ratio of n(O-methyl-N-nitroisourea):n(methylamine)=1:2.4.
