Abstract
Objective To know about health status of the children in rural areas in Beijing and to provide reference to health education policy for them.Methods By the method of multistage sampling combined with stratified sampling and cluster sampling,a cross-sectional investigation was conducted in 529 rural children 12 and under.Results General health status of the rural children in mountainous areas was worst.The incidence rate of influenza and diarrhea in rural children was in high level.The incidence rate of influenza in rural boys was higher than that in rural girls.Conclusion Both the rural children in mountainous areas and the rural boys should be the main health education objects,and the common communicable diseases should be the main content as well.
