Clinical Study of Influence on Surum Levels of the Estrogen and Perimenopausal Period Depressive Syndrome.

Abstract

Objective:To investigate the influence of estrogen levels and perimenopausal period depressive syndrome.Methods:To examine the Follicle Stimulating Hormone(FSH) 、Luteinizing Hormone(LH) 、Estradiol(E2) 、Testosterone(T) serum levels in 245 patients with Perimenopausal period women.The patients with Perimenopausal syndrome were divided into two groups.In the first group 95 patients with Perimenopausal syndrome;and the second group 150 patients without perimenopausal syndrome.Perimenopausal syndrome group were treated with estrogen-progestin.Methods:The level of serum E2 were very lower in depression syndrome group than no depression syndrome group (P 0.01) .Self-retified depression scale(SDS) .score in the depression syndrome had significant differences btween before and after treatment (P 0.05). Conclusion: Very lower level of estradiol can possibly lead to depressive syndrome. Estradiol alienating depression syndrome can improve the efficacy of treating perimenopausal syndrome.
