A Study on Western Area Middle-school Students Anxiety Condition and Influencing Factors

By using self-rating anxiety scale and secondary school students trait anxiety factors questionnaire,we investigated 549 middle school students in western China,and the results show that:(1) western region secondary anxiety level is significantly higher than the national norm,more than 50% students having the anxious problem,the grade 3 middle school students and high school student’s anxious question is obviously higher than other grades,in which the anxiety of the grade 3 middle school students is significantly lower than that of the grade 1 high school students;(2) trait anxiety factors,in addition to the bad environment,are related to anxiety symptoms.Inferiority orientation,physical weakness,interpersonal problems can directly forecast anxiety symptoms.
