Germplasm Resources of Wild Melastomataceae Ornamental Plants and Their Development and Utilization in Hainan Island

Abstract
An attempt was made to describe the morphological characters, inflorescence, habitat, ornamental value, use purposes, research and development and utilization of 30 species and 1 mutant under 12 genus of wild Melastomataceae ornamental plants in Hainan. Some suggestions were proposed on judicial and effective development and utilization of these resources.
