Abstract
The investigation and introduction,domestication research of Melastomataceae ornamental plants resources in China were introduced.The morphological characteristics,the propagation and cultivation techniques and the exploitation and utilization status of Melastomataceae were summarized.The researches on its protection and germplasm innovation were prospected.
