Abstract
Objective To observe the effect of resveratrol(Res) on blood lipid and hemorheologic parameters in hyperlipidemic rats. Methods Ninety Wistar rats were randomly divided into 6 groups. The rats in the normal control group were fed with normal diet, and the rats in other 5 groups were given high fat diet to induce hyperlipidemia. After preventive treatment for 40 days, serum lipid levels and hemorrheologic indexes were measured. Results Compared with the model group, the levels of total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and apolipoprotein B100(apoB100) were decreased significantly(P 0.05),and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),apoAI and apoAI /apoB100 were increased(P 0.05) in Res groups.Meanwhile,high-,middle-and low-shear whole blood viscosity, plasma viscosity, hematocrit(HCT),index of erythrocytic rigidity(IER),index of erythrocytic aggregation(IEA) were decreased significantly(P 0.05),and index of erythrocytic deformation(IED) was increased(P 0.05) in Res groups. Conclusion Res can regulate the disorder of lipid metabolism in hyperlipemia through promoting lipid metabolism and improving hemorheological indexes.
