Abstract

Objective:To observe the abdominal needle with suspended moxibustion Baihui treatment of cervical vertigo(CV) clinical efficacy. Methods:CV patients were randomly divided into abdominal acupuncture with moxibustion Baihui group(A),simple abdominal acupuncture group(B) and simply hanging moxibustion Baihui group(C),each group of 30 cases. Before and after treatment, the transcranial Doppler(TCD) detection was used to test bilateral vertebral artery(LVA-Vm of the RVA-Vm) and basilar artery mean blood flow velocity(BA-Vm).The symptomatology integral and efficacy assessment were evaluated as well. Results:The TCD results and efficacy evaluation showed significant differences(P0.01) amid the three groups before and after treatment,Group A was significantly better than group B and C(P0.05,P0.01).Conclusion:Complex therapy of abdominal acupuncture plus suspended moxibustion Baihui is significantly better than single therapy, that may be related to adjust the balance of yin and yang of the body in patients and improve vertebral-basilar artery blood flow velocity.
