Abstract
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of CD 44V6 and the biological behavior and metastasis of breast cancer. Methods Immunohistochemistry assay was used to analyze the association between the expression and the pathological indexes. Results The positive rate of CD 44V6 in breast cancer was 58.4 %(28/48), the expression of CD 44V6 was correlate with the tumor size and the metastasis of the axillary lymph node. Conclusion CD 44V6 may play an important role in the pathogenesis and metastasis of breast cancer; CD 44V6 is related to the invasion and metastasis of breast cancer.
