The efficacy of fexofenadine hydrochloride tablets combined with thymopeptides on treating chronic urticaria

Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of fexofenadine hydrochloride tablets comined with thymopetides in the treatment of chronic urticaria.Methods Seventy-six patients were devided randomly into control and threapeutic groups with 38 cases in threapeutic group and 38 cases in control group.In threapeutic group the patients were given fexofenadine hydrochlorid(60 mg,bid),and use thymopetides(20 mg,tid),while the patients in control group were only treated with fexofenadine hydrochlorid(60 mg,bid).All patients were treated for 12 weeks.Comparative analysis of its clinical effects and safety of the fexofenadine hydrochloride combined with thymopetides or single fexofenadine hydrochloride in the treatment of chronic urticaria.Results The effective rate was 81.60% in threapeutic group,the effective rate was 60.50% in control group.There was a statistically significant difference between two groups(χ2=4.094,P 0.05).Conclusion Fexofenadine hydrochloride combined with thymopetides is safe and effective in the clinical treatment of chronic urticaria.
