Retrospective analysis of clinical blood transfusion in taihe hospital from 2001 to 2006

Objective:To investigate the present situaion of clinical blood transfusion for better quality.Method:The indexes including total quantity,whole blood and component blood transfusion during 2001-2006 in our hospital were analyzed.Result:The percentage of component blood transfusion was increasing year by year.The whole blood quantity gradually decreased,whereas the quantity of platelet and cryoprecipitate gradually increased.Mean usage of blood transfusion did not significantly change during six years.The total quantity of plasma increased,but its percentage decreased year by year.White blood cell transfusion was seldom used in clinic.Conclusion:Although the percentage of component blood transfusion gradually increased,and clinical blood transfusion gradually trended to the standard,there are still some unreasonable phenomenons to be improved for better quality of clinical blood transfusion.
