Abstract

Objective To probe manifestations of ovary cystadenocarcinoma in CT. Methods Clinical data and CT images were retrospectively analyzed for those confirmedly diagnosed as ovary cystadenocarcinoma by surgical pathology exams. Results Of the 19 cases, 18 had polycystic tumors, the cyst wall and septum were uneven in thickness, coarse and hardened. Most of the cysts had nodules on the wall or had solid parts. 2 cases had calcification on cyst walls. 1 case had only one cyst with smooth wall. 14 cases were serous and 5 were mucous. Conclusion Ovary cystadenocarcinoma has charac- teristic manifestations. The cyst wall is usually uneven in thickness, and nodules in walls are common. CT is a better method in diagnosing cystadenocarcinoma at present.
