Abstract
Objective To evaluate the efficacy of cefepime in the treatment of patients with lower respiratory tract infection. [Methods]A total of 44 cases were treated by cefepime 1.0~2.0g added to 5%GS or 0.9%NS 100ml iv drip,Q12 h. All treated 10~14 days as a course. [Results] The clinical effective rate of cefepime was 84.1%, and the cure rate was 63.6%. The bacterial eradication rate is 84.1%. [Conclusion] Cefepime is an effective and safe agent for treatment of patients with lower respiratory tract infection.
